BAP Education: Pre-Clinical Certificate
Background
Following a popular series of informal workshops, the BAP launched the Preclinical Certificate in Psychopharmacology in July 2001. All those involved in this field of research, as well as those working in other areas of the Life Sciences, are encouraged to attend.
The aim of this Certificate is to increase awareness of, interest and expertise in, preclinical psychopharmacology through the provision of a series of training modules which will cover key aspects of research on animals and humans as well as career development in this field.

Further Information
Costs
From July 2009
Delegates at half-day modules will pay a nominal fee for attendance.
Delegates at full-day modules will pay the following fees:
- Students (includes PhD, MPhil): £55
- Academics (includes postdoc): £95
- Industry: £175
A nominal fee of £25.00 will be charged to delegates wanting to complete Part II of the certificate.
NB: Fees may have to change depending on the location and on-site costs of full-day modules.
The BAP acknowledges financial support from the BBSRC to develop this certificate programme
